How to Identify the Correct Jacket for Heidelberg SX74
When replacing perfecting jackets on a Heidelberg SX74, the press parts list will usually show the required replacements under the references M2.581.183 or M2.581.193
These act as umbrella references covering the different jacket thicknesses listed above. The correct thickness depends on the profile of each printing unit.
The easiest way to identify the jacket currently fitted is to check the etched information on the existing jacket. Clean the area between the grippers on the drive-side lead edge to reveal the jacket specification.
