How to Identify the Correct Jacket for Heidelberg SM102

When replacing perfecting jackets on a Heidelberg SM102, the press parts list will usually show the required replacements under the references S8.581.183 or S9.581.183.

These act as umbrella references covering the different jacket thicknesses listed above. The correct thickness depends on the profile of each printing unit.

The easiest way to identify the jacket currently fitted is to check the etched information on the existing jacket. Clean the area between the grippers on the drive-side lead edge to reveal the jacket specification.
